The Gore Range

About the only thing we do not like about this range is the name. Sir St. George Gore was not a good man. Anyhow, the range is rugged and has many similarities to our favorite, the San Juans. We have had over a dozen trips into the Gores. We did many long days with Steve Gladbach, including spring trips with long glissades.

Journal Entry Summer, 2010: We joined forces with Kent Beverly and Lynn Prebble on this trip. They were staying longer to do peaks we had already climbed. Peak G and Peak F were phenomenal. I have climbed so much with Kent and Lynn that we always seem in sync with each other.
